The village of Ulukale located in Tunceli provence Turkey. My first visist was with Gordon Hillman in 1972 on an einkorn-collecting expedition. The photo on left was taken in 1977.The rooves were used for circulation. The photo on the right shows part of the ruins (left on the righthand photo) of the village after it was was abandoned.
